My name is Chris, founder of Windsor and Eton Stoves. My passion for design began at college and has grown into a lifelong commitment to creating beautiful, functional spaces centred on the warmth and character of a fireplace.
Over 10 years ago we opened our showroom inside Squires Garden Centre in Shepperton, giving homeowners the chance to see wood, multi-fuel, gas and electric stoves burning side by side in a calm, unhurried setting. Since then we've completed hundreds of installations across Berkshire, Surrey and the Thames Valley, from cottages and Victorian terraces to new-build family homes and listed period properties.
Our specialism is the whole picture, not just the stove. We consider the proportion of the chimney breast, the sightlines from the sofa, the hearth material against your floor, and how the flue will run through the fabric of the house. That designer-led approach is why our work has featured on a RIBA Stirling Prize–winning project: a benchmark we hold ourselves to on every job.
