Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods and installation services by Windsor and Eton Stoves Limited(Company No. 07920782, HETAS Registration 3869) ("we", "us"). By accepting a written quotation from us you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Quotations

All quotations are provided in writing following a free site survey and are valid for 30 days. Quotations are fixed against the scope described. Where scope is uncertain: for example a sealed chimney breast , potential additional costs will be itemised in advance.

2. Deposit & payment

A deposit: the cost of the stove plus 50% of installation, is due within 72 hours of quotation acceptance. The remaining balance is payable on satisfactory completion. We accept BACS transfer. No hidden fees are added at completion.

3. Installation

All installations are carried out by HETAS-registered engineers and, where applicable, Gas Safe engineers. Installations are self-certified to Building Regulations under HETAS registration 3869 and you will receive a certificate for your records and home insurer.

4. Guarantees

We provide a minimum 12-month, no-quibble workmanship guarantee. Flue components carry 15–30 year manufacturer warranties. Stoves carry 5-year to lifetime manufacturer warranties depending on brand. Glass, rope seals and firebricks are classed as consumables and are not covered by warranty.

5. Access & site preparation

You agree to provide safe access to the installation area, adequate power and water where required, and to remove or protect valuables and soft furnishings prior to our arrival. We will treat your property with the utmost respect and leave the working area clean on completion.

6. Variations

Any variation to the agreed scope of works must be agreed in writing (email is sufficient) and may result in adjustments to the price or timeline. We will not undertake unbudgeted works without your prior consent.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel within 14 days of accepting a quotation for a full refund of any deposit paid, provided no works or bespoke orders have commenced. Bespoke stoves and made-to-measure items are non-refundable once ordered from the manufacturer.

8. Liability

We hold £5,000,000 public liability insurance with Zurich. Our liability under any contract is limited to the value of the works undertaken. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
